With a very poor forecast for the ride and snow on the ground, nobody was willing to brave the elements this morning for our annual Christmas Dinner ride.
We all met at Rolls Royce Social at 2:30 for drinks before sitting down to our traditional Christmas Lunch at 3pm.
Dinner was up to the usual exceptional standard, seating a total of 27 members.
Christmas Dinner is our traditional time to present the club awards for the last year. Certificates this year being awarded for our challenge rides as follows:

Unfortunately our other challenge rides this year were cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
The final presentations were to the winners of the Jack Harrison Trophy: Roger Taylor, and the Bill Heywood Trophy: Claire Hunter. Congratulations to all.
Finally during the meal, we held a numbers raffle, raising just over £120 which will be donated to the Lancashire and Yorkshire Air Ambulace Services.
