Our AGM, Annual General Meeting, is held in November at Nelson Cricket Club, and usually accompanied by members slides and a pie and peas supper.

In addition to the AGM we organise slide show and talk evenings, on a cycling or walking theme, again with a pie and peas supper, previously held at Nelson Cricket Club but now generally at Colne Golf Club.

There is also an annual lunch time christmas meal, which has been held at the Copy Nook hotel, Bolton-by-Bowland for a number of years. This usually takes place on the Sunday before christmas. Members can either meet at the venue, or join the morning cycle ride to the meal, for which a number of riders have decorated their bikes for the occassion.

Don’t forget that you are welcome to join us at our regular Tuesday night social at The Cross Gaits Inn, Blacko, between 8.00 pm and 9.30pm. You can come along on a 15 to 20 mile ride beforehand, meeting at 6.30 pm opposite The White Bear Pub, Gisburn Road, Barrowford, or just meet us at the Cross Gaits for the Social.
